In building major infrastructure, there are operations on which everything else depends. Lifting a structural element, positioning a component in a confined space, moving a gate or coordinating multiple lifting points: every movement can be a decisive step for the success of the entire project.

EMIS designs and builds special machines and equipment dedicated to these tasks. Solutions that arise from a precise operational need and take shape together with the structure they will become part of.

We start from the operation that needs to be made possible. We study the load, the trajectories, the available geometries and the work sequences. We analyze the interfaces with the structures, the environmental conditions and the access and maintenance requirements. From these elements we develop the machine, integrating structural and mechanical design, drives and control systems.

A machine may be called upon to operate during a decisive phase of assembly or to serve the infrastructure throughout its entire operating life. Its task guides every design choice: from the configuration of the lifting points to the precision of the movements, from load distribution to installation and recovery methods.

We develop special cranes, winches, synchronized lifting systems and gripping and positioning equipment, with configurations defined according to the needs of the project. When needed, we integrate load monitoring, position control, interlocks and automatic sequences to manage even the most complex operations in a coordinated way.

We work closely with designers, contractors and plant managers so that handling is considered from the earliest stages of the project’s development. We support the supply through engineering, manufacturing, documentation and testing, all the way to installation and commissioning. The value of each of our machines is also measured by what it makes possible. An assembly completed, a component brought into its intended position, an infrastructure that can go into service and be maintained over time.
