Logistics & Containers
We design infrastructure for logistics and transport
An intermodal terminal is a complex system in which rail, roads, storage areas and handling equipment must operate in a coordinated way.
In this context, the crane is a central element in ensuring the continuity, precision and efficiency of operations.
We design and build rail-mounted gantry cranes for rail and intermodal terminals, developing each solution based on the terminal’s layout and specific operating conditions.
The machine’s geometry is defined considering the track arrangement, road lanes, storage areas, clearances and the type of units to be handled.
Our solutions can integrate telescopic spreaders for 20, 30 and 40-foot ISO containers and piggyback systems for handling swap bodies.
Hoisting, trolley travel and gantry travel are developed together with the control systems, with particular attention to movement precision and load stability.
When required, we integrate weighing, anti-collision, anti-sway, operating area monitoring and positioning assistance functions.
Every terminal has different geometries, constraints and flows: that is why the machine’s configuration is defined starting from an analysis of the entire logistics system.
